Facilities
The South Umpqua School District Facilities Department maintains safe, functional and welcoming learning environments across all district schools. Through preventive maintenance, repairs, construction projects and security improvements, the Facilities Team helps keep schools safe, functional and ready for learning, advancing the district's Strategic Plan priority of Modern and Safe Facilities. The team maintains 25 district buildings. With only nine buildings newer than 1973, the district also includes two buildings that are more than 90 years old, making the preservation of aging facilities while meeting modern safety and operational standards a vital part of their work.
